Hire license
For a brand hiring a verified creator: how a request, payment and license work, and what the brand may do.
Draft. Our legal team is still reviewing this wording; it may change.
1. What a hire is
A hire is a license for a verified creator's face, for the brand's own AI project, such as an ad or a short drama, in image or video. The brand makes the content itself, outside our service, with its own AI tools.
Inmagine Lab Pte. Ltd., Singapore ("we", "us") provides the license, the face photos and the proof. The creator keeps their identity, face and photos. We pass on only the approved use.
2. The request
The brand finds a verified creator with a linked social account who allows brand hires. It sends a request that states the product, claims, media (image or video), channels, territory, duration, exclusivity, editing, quantity and a fee offer.
If the brand is not sure what to offer, we suggest a starting fee. It is never below the creator's own lowest hire fee.
If the request fits the creator's rules, it is accepted automatically. If not, the creator accepts, counters or declines within 7 days, or it lapses.
Some requests are refused automatically: one that clashes with a paid exclusive hire, an exclusive request while another brand holds a paid hire with that creator in the same countries and time, and any hire into a country that is off.
Exclusivity holds only from payment. When two brands want the same exclusivity, the first to pay wins and the other is told.
3. Payment
After acceptance, the brand pays the fee upfront within 7 days, or the request lapses.
If the creator pauses or leaves before the license is issued, the brand gets a full refund.
We issue the license once the fee is paid.
4. What we give the brand
We give the brand the license, its certificate, the face photos the creator chose for brand deals, and the creator's full-body photo and height.
We never give a brand a creator's selfies, ID data, vendor references, face vectors, model weights or API access.
5. Making and certifying the content
The brand makes its content itself, and confirms that its own AI tools' terms allow it to use those photos as it intends.
The brand uploads each finished piece. We check it against the license by machine. Pieces that are unclear go to our operations team. Then we certify it. Only a certified piece may be published.
The creator can see every piece and can object. An objection pauses that piece's use until our operations team decides.
6. Rules for every hire
The brand never trains or fine-tunes a model on the creator's face.
The brand labels the content as AI-made, and never presents it as real or as the creator's endorsement.
These are banned in every hire:
- medical, legal or financial claims
- minors
- politics
- gambling
- voice
- contacting the creator's followers
- trademark claims
- anything on our list of content we never make
7. Breach
A breach or unlawful use ends the license at once. Anything else gets 5 days to fix.
8. Before the license is issued
The brand can withdraw its request before paying.
If the creator pauses, withdraws brand-licensing consent or turns brand hires off, open requests close and paid hires are refunded in full. A ban does the same.
If the creator is temporarily suspended, a paid hire is on hold: no license and no refund yet. The brand sees on hold, with no reason, and can cancel for a full refund at any time. If the suspension lifts, the license goes ahead. If it becomes a ban, the refund applies.
9. After the license is issued
A licensed hire runs its term. If a creator pauses, existing hires keep running. If a creator leaves partway, the brand keeps the chosen photos until the term ends, then deletes them with proof.
10. When the term ends
Use stops. The brand removes the content within 10 business days. It may keep one archive copy.
The brand deletes the face photos, with proof, within the same 10 business days.
We delete our own copy of each piece 30 days after the term, unless a dispute is open. We keep the certificate, the license and the piece's fingerprint.
11. Proof
Every certified piece has its own certificate, tied to this license.
